Day 6: Palmyra, NY to Rochester, NY-- Basically a rest day

Quiche, yogurt and coffee fueled our easy, easy ride just over 20 miles to Rochester today! It was mostly through relatively urban areas, though we did get a bit of trail along the Genesee River. We had other plans here (thus the low mileage) but ended up just getting a longer day post-ride to enjoy the city. After a team brunch we did laundry, where we got to play some classic arcade games while waiting for our jerseys and bibs at the laundromat. Some of us hit up the bike shop, others went to explore the city a bit. Dinner was provided by our awesome hosts at the Church of Love and Gibby’s mom (thank you!) and now we are just mentally preparing for our ride tomorrow (average milage, about 70, but 45 degrees and raining all day). Not too much to write about for now— I’m sure we’ll all have a lot to say tomorrow. Thank you all for following along!
