BIOGRAPHY
Hi, my name’s Sam! I’m a senior studying economics at the University of Illinois. I live in Westchester, Illinois with my mom, dad, sister, our two dogs, and our cat. I love reading, traveling, being active, spending time with friends, and challenging myself! During my down time, I enjoy playing Guitar Hero and Super Smash Bros, and watching shows and movies. I’m currently working my way through season 5 of Peaky Blinders and I’m always ready to watch a Lord of the Rings movie. I’m excited to have the opportunity to bike across the country this summer with my fellow Illini 4000 members and contribute to our Portrait Project!
PERSONAL STATEMENT
Cancer is a terrible disease that has impacted the lives of nearly everyone that I know, including my own family. I’m riding because I want to do my part in finding a cure for cancer. I hope that one day, no one will have to experience the pain that cancer has caused so many people.
