BIOGRAPHY
Hi everyone! My name is Janae Moore. I am a senior studying Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign. I’m extremely excited to graduate and start the next chapter of my life. When I’m not studying or planning for my future, I enjoy going to comedy shows and concerts. I’ve seen everyone live from Dave Matthews to Rihanna. I like to live everyday doing something I would be proud of decades from now. Every day is as an opportunity to reach new heights and goals. This year, I’ve decided to join Illini 4K after years of wanting to join.
PERSONAL STATEMENT
I can remember my first Quad Day as a freshman and getting to see all that the University of Illinois and its Registered Student Organizations had to offer. Out of hundreds of RSOs, Illini 4K immediately stood out to me. Seeing students on their bikes and matching Illini 4K gear was a sight to behold my first Quad Day. But entering Quad Day as a senior was a little different this time around. A good friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer the summer before my junior year and it totally changed my perspective on life and cancer. Illini 4K was no longer something I wanted to do, but something I had to do.
