BIOGRAPHY
YOOO! I’m Hitarth Patel, and I am a Senior at the University of Illinois studying Agricultural and Biological Engineering. I am from Lindenhurst, IL (a northern suburb of Chicago). My family has been very supporting and positive about most of the things I do, all my family is the reason why I am where I am today. I really dig exploring new things and being active, I am a big fan of cycling, nature, and being involved in different things!
PERSONAL STATEMENT
It is true that biking cross-country is damn cool. I think Illini 4000 is more about letting people who are suffering/enduring through cancer that we care about the hardships of their lives. This is a way to let the people who are going through cancer all know about stories of others who have been through it, it is about lending them an ear to talk to and appreciate their fighting spirit. I want to raise money and awareness for cancer patients out there who need support and aid just to continue their treatment.
