BIOGRAPHY
Hello! Thanks so much for visiting my page! My name is Christina Su and I am currently a freshman at the University of Illinois. I am from Bloomington, Illinois where I was raised by my wonderful parents and grew up with my lovely older brother, Alex. I enjoy doing crafts, taking pictures, eating, exploring, reading, and coloring! I always have a good laugh watching Friends and I love doing Zumba! I'm currently making my way through Sherlock and Parks and Recreation and I am in love with both. In high school, I played tennis and competed in speech for all four years, and both activities have profoundly shaped who I am today. Right now, I'm studying Molecular and Cellular Biology and on campus I'm involved with English Corner, I play clarinet in Hindsley Symphonic Band, and now I'm a member of Illini 4000. I'm so excited to explore our country and meet amazing people!
PERSONAL STATEMENT
Last year, my uncle was rediagnosed with liver cancer after being cancer-free for a very long time. Unfortunately, cancer is a disease that can be so unexpected yet have such a large impact on an individual and the people around them. My uncle passed away last October, and I think about him, my aunt, and my two cousins every single day. I'm dedicating my ride to them and for all that they went through and still have to go through because of cancer. I also want to ride for the other families and friends that have had to go through this, and hopefully one day these situations don't have to happen anymore.
